With over 35 years of Martial/Combatives experience, SiJo Frank began training in Choy Lee Fut Gung Fu at the age of eleven under Master Moc Kan Sent in Miami, Fla in 1971. Today he is internationally ranked and recognized by The World Martial Arts Council, The International Police Combatives Association, and The International Blade Fighters Guild among others. He also holds the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt in American Taiho-Jitsu under Grandmaster Alan Cunningham, a Black Sash in Hung Ga Kuen Gung Fu, and Sifu in Wing Chun Gung Fu under Sifu Jiun Yi. SiJo Frank has studied Russian Military Combatives, and is also licensed as Nevada State Director by VDT Academy Int. to teach Pentjak Silat-Serak under the direct authority of VDT Academy founder Maha Guru Victor DeThouars.
SiJo Frank is the Executive Director & Founder of the World Combat Martial Artists Association, which maintains a members roster of some of the most respected practitioners & instructors in the fields of reality based self defense, martial arts and close quarters combatives in the world.
Working as an entertainment and corporate security consultant in Nevada & Los Angeles, he also gives instruction of the Hurricane system to select students in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as conducting seminars for law enforcement, military, security personnel, state employees, self defense instructors & students from across the country and around the world.
Sifu Garry Fife has an extensive & lifelong Martial Arts background, including American Kenpo, Brazilian JiuJitsu, Freestyle Wrestling/Grappling and Jun Fan / Jeet Kune Do. He has trained with such notable instructors as Frank Mir Sr, Maha Guru Victor DeThouars, Sifu Richard Bustillio & Prof. Tom Sotis. Sifu Garry oversees HCAA Henderson/Green Valley Nevada. His dedication towards training and teaching the Hurricane system, has given him the skills to be considered by Sijo Frank as one of his top students & most knowledgable instructor in HCAA.

Lance Fleming is the Texas State Representative for Hurricane Combat Arts Academy. Dai-Sifu Lance has been training in the Hurricane System directly under SiJo Frank since 2001. Studying various martial arts since 1983, he has trained in Hapkido, American Karate, Song Mu Kwon, Inosanto Kali/Escrima, and AKKI Kenpo Karate. Lance has worked in the fields of state corrections, state licensed fugitive recovery, professional and private security/executive protection, and in residential mental health treatment facilities. After studying several forms of JuJutsu and earning a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Taijutsu, Sifu Jimmy Wennberg came to the United States from Sweden in 2002 to train with Sijo Frank personally in the Hurricane system. After extensive private training, Sifu Jimmy went back to Sweden and began training and teaching Hurricane concepts. After first incorporating Hurricane elements into his existing Taijutsu, he soon realised he wanted to devote his entire teaching & training regimen to the Hurricane system. Sifu Jimmy opened the original HCAA Europe in Staffanstorp Sweden, and has been consistently returning to the U.S., as well as hosting SiJo Frank for seminars and extensive private training time in Sweden. He received his HCAA Full Instructor's certfication from SiJo Frank in Sept. 2008, as well as being named HCAA's Chief European Instructor. Sifu Jimmy currently works as a State Security Officer and nightclub security. Sifu Jimmy was recently certified as a self defense instructor for Swedish security agencies by the Swedish National Police Board to teach self defense, handcuffing, ASP Baton and mental preparedness. He currently teaches group & private sessions in the state of Skane Sweden.
With an extensive background in Krav Maga, military combatives and Greco Roman Wrestling, Oskar discovered the Hurricane Combatives system through Sifu Jimmy Wennberg while working together in both State/Military Security and nightclub bouncing. After seeing firsthand it's efficiency and effectiveness, he made the decision to begin training with Sifu Jimmy and quickly absorbed it's concepts.
Dai-Sifu Oskar now heads the Olofstrom HCAA training group in the state of Blekinge Sweden, awarded his 1st ToDai & Associate Instructors certification by SiJo Frank in Sept of 2008.
